Maturity Model

The AIGO maturity model provides a way to evaluate the development and operational maturity of an organization’s AI governance capabilities.

Purpose

Maturity assessment helps organizations understand:

• current governance capability
• areas requiring improvement
• progression priorities
• governance consistency
• readiness for more advanced AI governance practices

Use of maturity levels

Maturity should be treated as an improvement model rather than a certification by itself. Organizations can use maturity assessment to establish a baseline, define improvement objectives, and measure progress over time.
