What Studio is for

AIGO Framework Studio provides a structured workspace for maintaining governance records and decisions for AI systems, including:
  • AI system registration and governance context
  • People and responsibilities
  • Classification and evaluation
  • Risk management and risk acceptance
  • Controls and control assessment
  • Evidence
  • Review and approval

Studio is designed to help organizations operationalize governance. It does not itself provide certification, accreditation, or conformity assessment.

Framework and Studio

The AIGO Framework defines the governance model, lifecycle, roles, requirements, procedures, and guidance. AIGO Framework Studio provides the operational workspace in which those governance activities and records can be managed. Use the AIGO Framework documentation for the governance model and underlying requirements.

Getting started

If you are new to AIGO Framework Studio:
  1. Install AIGO Framework Studio
  2. Get started with your first AI system
  3. Follow the governance lifecycle from registration through monitoring and reassessment.
  4. Record the relevant governance decisions, evidence, responsibilities, and outcomes as you work.

Governance lifecycle

Studio follows the AIGO governance lifecycle: Register → Responsibilities → Classify → Evaluate → Review → Approve → Validate → Monitor → Reassess Each stage has a dedicated guidance page explaining:
  • when the stage should be used;
  • what information should be recorded;
  • what the Studio fields mean;
  • what governance outcome should be produced; and
  • what activity normally follows.

Governance records

Studio also provides dedicated workspaces for governance records that support the lifecycle, including risks, controls, changes, incidents, evidence, assurance, and rules. These records should be maintained according to the applicable AIGO Framework guidance and the organization’s governance arrangements.

Important

AIGO Framework Studio is an operational governance management platform. Recording information in Studio does not by itself establish legal compliance, certification, accreditation, or conformity assessment. Organizations remain responsible for determining applicable requirements, making governance decisions, maintaining appropriate evidence, and obtaining any external assessment or assurance required for their circumstances.
