Implementation approach

AIGO implementation should be treated as a progressive organizational capability. A typical implementation sequence is:
  1. Establish governance ownership.
  2. Define the AI governance scope.
  3. Identify and register AI systems.
  4. Classify systems.
  5. Assess AI-related risks.
  6. Select and implement controls.
  7. Establish approval workflows.
  8. Collect evidence.
  9. Monitor AI systems.
  10. Conduct assurance and improvement.
