Register

The Register stage establishes the initial governance record for an AI system in AIGO Framework Studio.

When to use it

Use Register when introducing an AI system into the organization’s governance process or when creating its initial Studio record.

What to enter

Record the core information needed to identify and understand the AI system, including:
  • System name and identifier
  • Purpose and intended use
  • Owner and relevant responsibilities
  • Organizational context
  • Description of the system and its role
  • Relevant lifecycle or operational context
  • Governance information required by the organization
Use clear, stable information that allows the system to be identified throughout its governance lifecycle.

What the result means

A completed registration establishes the AI system as a governed object in Studio. It provides the foundation for subsequent classification, evaluation, review, approval, validation, monitoring, and reassessment. Registration does not by itself mean that the AI system is approved for operation or compliant with applicable requirements.
