Framework Mappings
AIGO provides structured mappings to established AI governance and regulatory frameworks.Purpose
Mappings help organizations understand how AIGO concepts relate to external requirements, controls, lifecycle expectations, and governance practices. The mappings are intended to support:- gap analysis
- implementation planning
- cross-framework alignment
- control traceability
- evidence planning
- assurance
Current mappings
AIGO v0.1 includes mappings for:- European Union AI Act
- ISO/IEC 42001
- NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- cross-framework relationships among these models
Mapping is not equivalence
A mapping expresses a relationship between frameworks. It does not mean that two requirements, controls, or governance concepts are legally or operationally identical. Framework-specific scope, terminology, authority, and interpretation remain important.Canonical source
