# Risk Schema

The Risk Schema provides the machine-readable structure for recording AI-related risk information.

## Purpose

It supports consistent risk records and helps connect risk assessment to treatment, controls, evidence, approval, monitoring, and assurance.

## Use

Risk records can support:

* risk identification
* assessment
* treatment
* residual-risk tracking
* acceptance decisions
* review and reassessment
