# Review

> Conduct and record AI governance reviews in AIGO Framework Studio.

# Review

The Review stage records a governance review of the AI system and the information produced during earlier governance activities.

## When to use it

Use Review when the AI system or its governance records require formal review before a governance decision, approval, or other defined outcome.

## What to enter

Record the review information, including where applicable:

* Review scope
* Records and evaluation results considered
* Relevant risks, controls, findings, and evidence
* Review outcome
* Governance observations or required actions
* Person performing the review
* Date of review

The review should consider whether the available governance information is sufficient for the decision that follows.

## What the result means

A completed review records that the relevant governance information was considered and identifies any resulting observations, actions, or decisions.

A review does not automatically approve the AI system. Approval remains a separate governance decision where required.

## What comes next

Where approval is required, proceed to [Approve](./approve). If further information or action is required, complete the identified governance activities first.
